Certainly, nothing comparable with the difficult task of building a transatlantic airline dedicated to postal service in the early 1920s. But the team at the Hydraviation Museum was able, without a doubt, to draw its inspiration and determination from it. Immense joy and pride for her when the Museum was officially awarded the “Qualité Tourisme” label in the fall of 2020.
In 2017, the Hydraviation Museum decided to embark on this adventure. This national mark, the only state mark, is awarded to tourism professionals for the quality of their hospitality and services. The services are regularly subject to unannounced and independent control and the audited institution must obtain a minimum score of 85% of satisfaction. Accompanied by the Departmental Committee of Tourism and the Great Lakes Tourist Office, the entire Museum team has mobilized on the objectives of welcoming the public, listening to visitors, visibility of information on the website, the enhancement of heritage and collections, memory, eco-responsibility, etc. So many themes to which the Hydraviation Museum is deeply attached.
This brand, a guarantee of quality for the visitor, also honours the motivation and determination of the museum team which will continue its efforts to satisfy an ever more numerous public to discover this museum unique in Europe.
